Second Bloom support groups offer a safe space for survivors to connect with others who have had similar experiences with abuse and assault. Survivors come to group in all stages of their journeys — from those who are unsure whether their current relationship is unhealthy or not to those who have been out of an unhealthy relationship for a long time and still long for connection with others who have “been there.”

Support groups can assist survivors in reducing feelings of isolation, disconnection, and self-blame and increase feelings of safety, belonging, and confidence.

Second Bloom support groups are led by trained advocates. Childcare is provided at no cost at all group meetings.

For more information about support groups, contact us at info@secondbloomofchatham.org.
